Before procedure
The hair must have grown back several millimeters, long enough to be comfortable to grasp with tweezers (3-4 days must have passed after shaving, 2 weeks after depilation/plucking, 1 month after the last laser removal procedure);
At least 5 hours do not drink coffee for 1 hour before the procedure. do not smoke before the procedure;
Use skin peeling products on the eve of the procedure;
Drink as much water as possible throughout the removal period. Hairs are removed much easier and faster from sufficiently moist skin;
Due to the increased sensitivity of the body, avoid visits during PMS and menstruation;
During the entire course of the procedure, apply SPF30 - SPF50 protective creams to open areas. Failure to protect the removal site may result in skin hypo or hyperpigmentation;
We recommend that you bring your favorite audiobook, music, or podcast that you would like to listen to through headphones during the procedure.
After procedure
During electro-epilation, the hair follicle is burned, so the removal site should be looked after as a "head down" wound - you will not see visual damage on the surface of the skin, but the healing process is taking place inside.
The natural reaction of the body is reddening of the skin, swelling (disappears after 24 hours), and scales up to 1 millimeter in diameter (not in all cases), which should fall off by themselves.
FORBIDDENVisiting sun baths, sunbathing;
Plucking, using any hair removal method, photo epilator;
Scratch forming and formed scabs.
AVOID 24-48 HOURS
Hot showers, steam baths, swimming pools, saunas, sports;
Touch the removal site, and use make-up.
AVOID 14 DAYS
Cosmetic procedures, do not use cosmetics containing acids, retinol;
IPL, laser procedures.
RECOMMENDED
For skin care, purchase one of the following creams/gels:Sesderma Epithelization promoting cream;
100% Aloe Vera gel;
Propolis ointment with zinc;
Bepanthen/Panthenol.
If necessary, to reduce swelling and redness immediately after the procedure or in the evening, freeze the removal area with ice wrapped in a clean towel (hold for 20 minutes, remove for 20 minutes, so you can freeze the entire evening with breaks).
3 DAYS AFTER PROCEDURE:
Disinfect with a disinfectant spray for wounds;
Apply the creams/gels listed above with clean hands.
BEFORE ANOTHER PROCEDURE
When the skin is already fully healed (after the scabs fall off, if they were formed), but no earlier than 7 days after the procedure - use a skin peeling, this way you will reduce the amount of ingrown hairs, the procedure will go smoother and faster.
IF NEWLY GROWING HAIRS ARE INTERFERING, THEY CAN BE SHAVED WITH KNIVES, SCISSORS, OR USED WITH A SHAVER BETWEEN PROCEDURES.
